Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity assists families through its Critical Home Repair Program. This extension of our home building mission promotes home repair with low-income, elderly, disabled, and veteran homeowners who struggle to maintain their homes.

The Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity Critical Repairs Program is an initiative aimed at assisting low-income homeowners in need of essential repairs for their homes. Through the Critical Repairs Program, Two Rivers Habitat focuses on necessary repairs that directly impact the safety, health, and overall livability of a home. These repairs can range from addressing structural issues to fixing essential utilities such as plumbing or electrical systems.

This program is currently only open to Rochester residents that have a source of income, are the owner of the home and possess homeowner’s insurance for that home. Grant funding is available that may alleviate the costs of the repairs by 50-100%.

By offering support through the Critical Repairs Program, Two Rivers Habitat aims to create a safer and healthier living environment for low-income homeowners, contributing to the overall well-being of individuals and communities.
